Writer's Block

As I sit and try to write
Pen in hand incase I might
Put to page a mighty tale
But still ahead the page lays pale

I tap the pages with my quill
Perhaps this action somehow will
Call forth heroes with a plight
And evil villians they must fight

But still ahead I see no plot
Instead my tapping leaves a dot
A tiny speck in a white sea
Is all I see infront of me

When suddenly I sit upright
Above my head a bulb goes bright
From in the gloom I see a spark
And all because that small ink mark
