I watch as life goes flowing by
An endless motion till we die
I watch as people live their lives
And so my anger feeds and thrives
I watch the sea envelop the shore
As does the pain till there’s no more
I watch and weep through mournful eyes
As loved ones live and lose their lives
I watch as we all hide our pain
No crushing loss, just joyous gain
I watch as stars shine in the night
But the dark seems stronger than the light
To Grieve For DreamsAs I lie awake once more
I wish for dreams from before
Of one I've never met awake
Who feels so real and not so fake.

So in this mournful morning glare
I try so hard to return there
But as I try to hold you tight
You fade into the morning light.

I held you through the nights before
And each night passed I loved you more
But every dawn I realise
You are not real, you are just lies

And so I lie awake once more
And wish for dreams from nights before

Metropocom - Rotwang's Hand Concpet 01

Done in PS 7 with an Wacom Intuos 4 M. Took about 3 hours (ridiculous I know) because I'm still unsure of what I'm doing with the new tablet.

Basically it's a concept for Rotwang's hand which I think for the comic can be more mechanical and menacing. I like the way the fingers came out but the palm and wrist were left simple just cuz I wanted to finish and didn't know what to do with them.

This is cool. I'd say maybe the background needs to be darker. That would give more of a menacing edge, like it was coming out of the shadows.

I notice your starting a metropolis comic collaboration. If you need people I'd be up for it for sure. Over summer I was going to work on some comics. I absolutely can't resist Fritz Lang's German expressionist sci-fi masterpiece.

Thanks. Ya that'd be brilliant. Me and ~Rono22 are gonna try get page one done and see where it's heading after that. Won't know where to start page 2 till then. Once page one is done I'll be doing a blog with further info and anyone that wants to work on page 2 or 3 then can and I'll be able to help with each page after that. Like a surporvisor/editor I guess. So far we have three members willing to chip in over the next few pages so it's just a matter of seeing who wants to do what.

Thanks. We'll need some halp in future from other members when it gets going so if you have any ideas or wanna do some art for a future page feel free. I'm hoping everyone in the group will do something if even only a small bit. It'd be nice to say everyone worked on it.
